Lactose Intolerance Lies

I think I might have lactose intolerance or something, but it's so embarrassing to admit because my roommates love their dairy. So every time we order pizza with cheese, I pretend like the extra-large slice is for me. Then I sneak out after everyone’s asleep and eat a banana instead. It feels like such a lie, but I can’t face the ridicule of being the only lactose-free one in the dorm. Maybe someday I'll just be open about it.
