I Broke Mom's Phone Charger

So yeah, I broke mom's phone charger today. Not sure how it happened exactly, but let's just say it involved a lot of scrambling to get out the door for school and maybe some clumsy running into my sister in the hallway. Now mom's pissed because her charger is toast and she can't use any other one with this fancy new phone she got. She caught me red-handed too, I was trying to sneak back up to my room with it under my jacket like a total chump. I just hope she doesn't realize how much she paid for that thing or else we're gonna have serious problems. Now every time she comes into the living room, I feel this wave of guilt washing over me and I want to run out and hide somewhere far away. But seriously, did it really come down to my phone charger being so much more important than mom's? It feels like such a waste.
