I Spilled Coffee on My Laptop

Every morning, I make myself a cup of coffee and cozy up at my desk to start my day. Today, as I reached for my laptop, the lid of my coffee mug slipped, sending a stream of java all over my keyboard. As someone in their 40s who prides herself on being organized and responsible, this was mortifying. My poor laptop sizzled and shut down before I could even save my work. I had to spend the rest of the day at work pretending everything was fine while secretly panicking about how much it would cost to fix or replace my device.
