The Time I Confessed to Being Dad Spy

So here's a secret that my kids will probably kill me for sharing one day. But ever since they've been teenagers, I've kinda, well, let's just say I'm not exactly their biggest fan of social media privacy... So yeah, there have been times when I may or may not have read their text messages or sneaked a peek at some of their direct chats on social platforms. Don't worry, it was all done in good humor and love, I just wanted to make sure they were safe and doing okay! And yes, I did feel like the coolest spy dad ever when I caught them talking about something I knew nothing about beforehand. But hey, this is a confession page, right? So here it goes: I'm not exactly keeping all my digital snooping hidden anymore. It's funny how you can feel so giddy and nervous doing something that feels both naughty and necessary at the same time.
