Pillow Fort Wars

So I’ve been having this ongoing battle with my roommate, Alex. We’re both first-year college students, and our dorm is supposed to be the perfect place for bonding over late-night talks and studying sessions together. But let’s face it, sometimes you just need your space. One night, Alex was blasting music at 3 AM while I was trying to study for an exam. Without a second thought, I built this massive pillow fort around my bed with all the pillows from both sides of our room. It looked like I’d turned my corner into a cozy little cave. The next morning, when he woke up and saw it, his eyes were bigger than saucers! He laughed at first but then tried to get me back by filling my fort with confetti. We’re still pillow-warring every now and then, and even though it’s pretty juvenile, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
