Why I'll Never Be the Good Kid Again

Anonymous Suspicious Flirt #536 · General

So here's this big thing that happened a while back. I was trying to prove to everyone, my parents, my teachers, even myself, that I could be the perfect middle kid who doesn't cause any trouble. But you know what? It turns out, being good all the time is boring as hell. So yeah, I broke out of my good-kid mold in this one big way. I had a stash of candies hidden in my closet for weeks because our parents were on some weird health kick and banned sweets from the house. One night, when they both went to a party that Dad’s work organized (they never go anywhere without each other unless it's something work-related), I raided the kitchen and packed as much candy into those secret hiding spots as possible. My little sister caught me red-handed though, right before Mom got home from the event. It was like she knew I'd been planning this for ages, the sneaky thing. But guess what? I'll do it again if they ever pull that health freak nonsense on us again. Like, why should the rest of us suffer just because they've decided to start drinking green smoothies every morning and going to yoga classes three times a week? They don't even like yoga! It’s just another way for them to boss around their good little kids.
