i hate that kid but why

ok so i have this student and he's like the most annoying person ever you know? every time i try to teach a lesson its all 'teacher miss why does 2+2=5' ugh it drives me insane but then today we had gym class and he was really good at basketball and everyone was cheering for him and i found myself feeling proud of him too which is so weird because i hate him, right? and now i keep wondering if its just the teacher in me wanting to see improvement or what. i mean i dont want to be like his cheerleader or anything but it feels weird
