Trying To Find A Balance

today my toddler refused to eat breakfast and when i tried to make him sit still for 5 minutes to calm down he just cried more... ended up giving in and letting him have his favorite snack instead, which probably wasn't the healthiest option but it worked. wonder if other parents do this too? how do you deal with picky eaters without feeling guilty all day long?
