coffee spills and lies

so yesterday at work this big customer was all mad because i spilled coffee on their shirt like why did you choose me to mess up omg it was a total accident but still so bad i felt sick after that the whole day and later when my friend asked how things went i said everything was fine cause i hate seeing people upset even if its not my fault exactly now im wondering if they know i lied and im gonna feel worse all week
