My Secret Hoarding Habit

I hoard stuff. It's a weird thing that I do. Whenever I see something I think might be useful or cute, I buy it or take it home with me. My apartment is almost like an attic or storage unit now. Clothes hang in piles on hangers and books sit unopened for years. I keep every receipt and box from everything I get because maybe one day I'll need them. Friends tell me to let things go but what if I regret throwing something out later? I know it's silly, but it brings a weird sense of security knowing all this stuff is there if I need it.
