Spilling Secrets at Work...

So there I was, pouring myself into my job as a bartender and doing my best to serve everyone the drinks they want while keeping it light-hearted. Last night though, something happened that made me pause... A regular came in looking pretty down on their luck, and despite knowing better, I ended up spilling all of his business troubles to our other customers without meaning to. Oops! Of course, I felt awful about it the next day when he found out but hey, at least everyone got a good laugh from the story for a while. Now here's my question: Has anyone else ever accidentally spilled a secret or two as they were trying to cheer someone up? Let's hear your bartender confessions!...
