I Spilled Coffee All Over My Boss's New Laptop

So, you know how every morning I go to get my coffee and then proceed to make a beeline straight for the office? Well, it’s like my body has this autopilot mode where everything goes smoothly until today. Today was different. Today, I had one of those moments that start small but escalate into full-on panic faster than you can say 'Oh no!' I’m sitting there with my coffee in hand, just walking over to the desk area when suddenly, what’s this noise? It sounds like a drop or something. Oh no, it couldn’t have been what I think it was, could it? Turns out, yes, it was exactly that. My hands must’ve slipped while holding onto my cup and all of its liquid contents ended up spilling directly onto the brand-new laptop my boss had just bought for him or herself, how was I supposed to know they’d leave such a tempting target in my path? Anyway, I’m still trying to figure out how exactly this happened. Was it because I was multitasking and forgot about the coffee? Or was it just bad luck? And now here’s me, standing there with everyone looking at me like ‘uh oh,’ while inside my head is screaming 'This can’t be happening!' It's been a few days since then, but every time I think of that moment, I cringe. Like, really hard.
