Forgot My Son's Soccer Game Again

I did it again today, forgot about his big soccer game. Just got another reminder email from the coach telling me he's worried my son won't play if I'm not there to cheer him on. This is happening way too often lately and I feel so bad. I try to make up for it by baking cookies or buying snacks every time but honestly, that can't keep making up for showing up. Saw a picture the other day of my son in his jersey with all the other kids smiling under our team banner at practice, he looks so happy and excited to be there. I wish I could capture that same moment now and be right beside him. But instead, it's just more guilt piling up because I didn't remember one tiny little detail. I've been working long hours and trying to keep the house running too but still. No excuses for this kind of thing, not when my kids are counting on me being there.
