Sneaking Sweets Under Lockdown

So, there’s this one rule my parents set up during lockdown, no snacking after dinner. I mean, come on! How can a growing kid like me go to bed without some yummy treats? Well, turns out my older sister keeps a stash of candy in her room. One night, I was super hungry and really tired too, but couldn’t stop thinking about that candy. So, here’s what happened, while everyone else was watching Netflix, I snuck into her room, grabbed the whole bag, and went back to mine for my late-night treat. I thought it would be hush-hush until my mom found half of a wrapper in my bed the next day! Of course, she made me confess. But hey, worth it for those moments of sweet bliss, right? 😜
