I Tried to Prank My Boss...

So last week at work, I got this wild idea to prank my boss. She's always so serious and strict that I thought a little humor would be good for her soul. So I rigged up the printer to spit out copies of her old memos... but they were all edited to make them sound super ridiculous! Like instead of 'Meeting cancelled,' it said, 'Due to unforeseen circumstances involving office plants, this meeting has been canceled.' It was genius.... At first, everything seemed perfect. Then someone noticed one of the funny memos and asked my boss about it... turns out she knew exactly who did it all along! And while I thought I'd get away with a little chuckle, next thing you know, there's this whole 'talk' about professionalism and respect in the workplace. Ugh.... But honestly? If given another chance, I probably would still do it because sometimes we just need to laugh at ourselves, right?
