So I told my mom that I had to go to the library today because she was pushing me to spend more time reading. But you know, it's been raining cats and dogs lately, so I just figured a good lie beats getting wet... Also, let’s be real, how many books are actually checked out anymore? Libraries are mostly about browsing these days anyway... So yeah, I may have gone shopping instead of hitting up stacks of dusty old tomes... Truth is, buying new clothes for the spring season felt way more rewarding than a book would've been. Don't judge me too harshly though, right? A white lie or two doesn’t hurt anyone... and it kept the peace with Mom, so win-win...
