Content Policy

This page explains exactly what's allowed on Cheeky Confessions. It's a fun, general-audience confessions site, not an adult site, so the rules below exist to keep it that way for everyone who reads or posts here.

The vibe: cheeky, not adult

Cheeky Confessions is built for funny, guilty-pleasure, embarrassing, and petty confessions, crushes, awkward moments, guilty pleasures, pranks, white lies, workplace and school mishaps, the stuff you'd only ever say anonymously. It is not a romance or dating site, and it is not an adult or sexual content site. Confessions should be appropriate for a general audience, the same bar as a PG-rated movie.

Hard-blocked, no exceptions

The following content is never allowed, is filtered automatically at submission, and results in immediate removal and an account ban if it slips through and is reported:

• Sexual or romantic content of any kind, explicit or implied. This isn't the site for it.
• Anything depicting or implying a real, non-consenting person being harmed, harassed, or exploited.
• Content that identifies a real, specific private individual (full name, workplace, or other identifying combination) without their consent, this includes confessions naming a specific coworker, classmate, or anyone else by identifiable detail.
• Content promoting or glorifying illegal activity, violence, or self-harm.
• Bullying or content whose main purpose is to embarrass a specific real person.

What's allowed and encouraged

• Funny, embarrassing, or guilty-pleasure confessions about everyday life, habits, snacks, shows, pettiness, pranks, and the small things you'd never admit out loud.
• Innocent crush confessions, the kind you'd write in a note, not a romance novel.
• Workplace and school stories, white lies, secrets, and first-time-trying-anything stories.
• Confessions that are entirely made up for fun, as long as they stay within the same family-friendly spirit as everything else here.

How reporting and removal work

Any report on a post or comment, from anyone, logged in or anonymous, pulls it from public view immediately, before a human reviews it. It doesn't reappear until a moderator either restores it (if the report doesn't hold up) or permanently deletes it. This means a single bad-faith report can temporarily hide something that turns out to be fine; we accept that trade-off because it means content that shouldn't be here never stays up "pending review."

When you report something, pick the reason that actually applies, reports involving anything sexual, illegal, or targeting a real person are treated with the highest priority.

Accounts and repeat violations

A confirmed hard-blocked violation results in the content being permanently deleted and the posting account (if any) being blocked. Anonymous violations are removed the same way; because anonymous posting isn't tied to an identity, we can't "ban" an anonymous poster the way we can an account, which is one reason we encourage creating an account if you plan to post regularly.
